Buyer's Stamp Duty at the non-residential rates, rising in tiers to 5 percent of the price above S$1.5 million. ABSD does not apply to commercial property.
Is GST charged on a commercial purchase?▾
When the seller is GST-registered, GST is charged on the price. A GST-registered buyer can usually claim it back.
Can foreigners buy commercial property in Singapore?▾
Yes. Offices, shops and industrial units can be bought by foreigners. Approval is needed only for residential parts, such as homes above a shophouse.
